Great experience. Friendly team, clean facility. Office is decorated, coffee bar, even piped in music in the halls, great lighting. I can get just the right amount of storage when I need it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

You can tell that this company only hires people that have the innate emotional capacity to care about others, and trains them well. They call you if there is a problem. My payment didn’t go through, and instead of letting a late charge get added, they spent the time to call me to get it sorted before. Facilities are clean, very secure, and well maintained. I’ve used them twice over the 11 years I’ve lived in the area (2013-2015, and 2024).

The facility is fine, and feels safe. Not sure why there isn’t 24hr access, I’ve needed it a few times. The cost increases are absolutely ridiculous, tho they seem fairly standard, as this is my 3rd indoor, temp control facility. IF you’re going to store stuff for more than a year, you need to build into your budget the idea that it’s going to go up by a significant percentage EVERY year. I started out at around $112 for my space. This past fall, after approx 4 years of paying increases of 10-15% each year – or more, it reached $180/mo. I cancelled a few months into that rate because it’s unreasonable in my monthly budget to store things I’m not using often at that price.

Would give zero stars if I could. I will echo the reviews that the facility is clean and well cared for. That’s about it. Since renting there, my elderly parents, who were the victims of a phishing scam, were threatened with their items going to auction due to a payment that was a missed because the card on file had to be cancelled. When I called and explained the situation to the regional manager, no late fee or auction fee was waived despite the situation. They insisted the total due be brought to them in cash immediately. Fast forward to moving out of the facility, the regional manager had his personal vehicle parked in the bay while we were trying to load up all of my parents’ items. He came out and rudely asked for us to hurry up and get away from his vehicle. This upset my father (a senior citizen) and mother (with Alzheimer’s). There was no warning or call for this kind of behavior, as were almost done loading up. This man was very aggressive and obstinate to SENIORS and has ZERO business being in a customer service industry. U Stor It has multiple locations across Chicagoland. Yet there is no main office or headquarters phone number to register complaints on the awful behavior of regional managers. Where is the accountability for abhorrent customer service? Bottom line DO NOT rent from this facility. EVER.
